Commissioner Angelo Timoteo M. Diaz de Rivera, Commission on Information and Communication Technology (CICT) [4th from left] underscores the holding of the 5th BIMP-EAGA Working Group meeting on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in the development of the region and in the country’s ICT and Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) industries. He said that President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo herself is an ICT Champion. Thus, Pres. Arroyo has been promoting the so-called Philippine CyberServices Corridor (PCC) as one of the super regions in the country that will boost telecommunications, technology and education.
